The Chairman of DARS Group of Companies, Super High Chief Dr. Ronald Ogochukwu Ezaka, has built and donated a block of classrooms for a secondary school in Azuitumo village, Oshiegbe Community, Ebonyi State.
The project, which was recently delivered to the community, has been hailed by residents as a landmark achievement in the area’s educational development.
The people of Azuitumo described Ezaka as one of their illustrious sons, praising his commitment to the growth of his community.

In a statement, the community said, “Congratulations to Azuitumo village in Oshiegbe Community. One of our illustrious sons, Super High Chief Dr. Ronald Ogochukwu Ezaka, built and donated a secondary school building to us.
“We are proud and happy with your generosity and kindness towards the development of our community.”
The new building is expected to provide students in the area with a safer and more conducive learning environment, while reducing the stress of travelling long distances to access secondary education.
Residents said the gesture would go a long way in boosting enrolment and motivating young people in the community to take their studies seriously.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Standard Rank Properties Limited, Prince Emmanuel Chukwudi Nwafor, has announced that his company supported the project with school bags for students of the newly built school.
Nwafor said he and members of his team took the decision after taking into account the needs of the students.
“Knowing the students in the newly built secondary school by High Chief Dr. Ezaka Ronald Ogochukwu, I and members of my team at Standard Rank Properties Ltd decided to support the project with school bags,” he said.
The gesture is expected to ease the burden on parents and encourage students as they settle into their new classrooms.
Observers say the development shows how private individuals and corporate organisations can complement government’s efforts in the education sector, especially in rural communities where infrastructure remains a challenge.
They also urged other wealthy and well-meaning indigenes of Ebonyi State to emulate the Chairman by investing in schools and other community projects in their home towns.
